It was just a little cottage... it’s roof and walls appearing to be made of thatch... white, trumpet shaped flowers on vines covered almost all of the walls, outlining the windows through which light was always shining. A stone chimney with wisps of rising smoke indicated a fireplace... The cottage was situated in the most unlikely of places... a mile from town... surrounded by dark, foreboding forests... it was a two acre plot of land secluded from the outside world.  The brilliant voice echoed through the airport like a wave of excitement. The lifeless terminal came alive as people rushed around, attempting to board their flights. ‘Why wait on line?’ I thought. It didn’t make sense. People were so oblivious. The announcement said that the plane was boarding. Not leaving. Everyone needs to calm down, seriously. Possible Novel? Need opinions.Preface;   
 I’d never given much thought as to what the future would hold. In my mind, the future didn’t change all that much. In everyone else’s’, however, the changes were astronomical. The year was 1998, and I had just purchased my first computer. Don’t get me wrong, I was young, but I had never really needed one. You see, what had happened was, I got a new job.        Aurelius had followed the trail of broken vegetation as the indication of the Cyclops’ path.  However, he was troubled.  He was now nearing a gulch with steep mountains faces on both sides.  The lack of sunlight in this pit made tree growth sparse.  With out the trail of crushed shrubbery, he worried about knowing which direction the beast went.  Coming to the edge of the forest, his fear was confirmed.  The plant growth was far too scarce to leave a path.  However, he did notice that The Eden Element 2 Ch 17

An oldie but a goodie!

Law of the Garbage Truck

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches!

The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly. So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital ! This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.'

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run
around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment.

As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets.

So...Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't.

Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!
